Headshot Session: £250

When we confirm the date of our session, I will send you my bank details for the £40 deposit. You can pay the rest of the balance in advance or on the day, whatever is more convenient

Post session

When the full payment has gone through, I will send over the online gallery containing your pictures. I will also send your receipt (VAT receipts cannot be provided as of current). Clients choose 3 images

Please send me a message informing me of your chosen images by either email, Instagram or by phone

The photos will be edited and sent back in high resolution. I’ll send you the final edited photos in colour, black and white images on request. I will also send a crop of the photos as well. If you are not happy with my crops, duplicate the headshots and crop them for yourself

The headshots are all worked on in Lightroom and Photoshop

Additional images are £15 each

What should I wear?

Wear something you know you’ll feel comfortable in. Bring different options. It entirely depends on your style and how you want these images to come across - smart or something casual, or both! Ladies however, you might want to consider something more fitted to show off your neckline and those other lovely feminine features. Jewellery: absolutely, make sure though it isn’t particularly loud and in the way, keep it subtle

Hair and make up

Hair: please don’t take the risk in having a haircut or getting it colour prior to the shoot, it could go wrong and therefore disastrous for both you and me. For actors, make sure your hair is similar to the headshot you submit to the casting director, they will expect this of you. I am sure you all know how to look after your hair, you don’t need someone like me to tell you what to do, but product wouldn’t go a miss, I have hairspray and wax at the studio. There is a mirror available, a full body one in fact. Those with long luscious hair, do bring a brush

Make-up: perfectly simple, keep it minimal. The more minimal it is, the more natural it will look and that is what we want, both you, me and the viewers! Ladies once again, just be aware of the foundation you’re using if it clashes with your natural skin tone. It might be best to get some friend’s advice before the shoot

Where is the studio?

The studio is in the south of London. Purley if you know? And yes, it’s in Zone 6, s’all good for that Oyster card! I will send the full address once I have received the deposit

Can I drive and park outside the studio?

Yup

How long are the sessions usually?

Sessions are an hour and a half to two hours

Outdoor shots?

No, the studio is supported by a combination of natural light and LED lights

Postponement/Cancellation

Please notify me at least 2 days before our session if you need to reschedule

If you cancel our session within 2 days of the appointment, the £40 deposit is non-refundable

I totally understand that things pop up spontaneously in these fields of work and, well it is the reason why you’re getting headshots in the first place right? Do try and let me know as soon as possible

How long do you store my images?

I will always have the pictures on backup so just let me know

Do you send the unedited images without a watermark?

No

Nervous?

I bet but please try not to be, the sessions are great fun and we take our time. I will give you direction to ensure we get the best from you, but other times we have a laugh and talk; philosophise even…

Can I edit them myself?

No

“Argh I have a nasty spot, why, of all days… I’m gonna cancel -”

No, don’t. Photoshop does wonders

I need my images glossy and airbrushed, can you edit them like that?

If that is the look you’re after, it’s best you find someone else as that goes against my aesthetic

Do I own the images when you have sent them?

Nope. These images are for you to promote yourselves in your respected industry. Obviously you have my permission to use them, but I will always own them. These images may not be reproduced, distributed or be included in any other transmission without my written approval

What if I don’t like the shots and edits?

Throughout the session, I will show you the photographs we’ve taken and ask for your feedback. As many headshot photographers stress, this is an incredibly subjective industry, so please be sure you like my work before booking

Note:

Actors and other represented artists: please talk to your agent and see if they like my work

If you feel your style is suited to my aesthetic, then do drop me a message

I photograph musicians, so if you play an instrument, feel free to bring it! I stress that if the instrument becomes damaged on the premises, I hold no responsibility for it; I just take the photos. The studio cannot take big instruments such as Pianos, Double Bass, Drums, Harps or Xylophones

Thank you!
